- I went to Whitman College; where I studied Economics, French, Multimedia Communications, and Zombie Combat.
- Hobbies include sailing, kayaking, sledding, exploration, making things, and Photoshop.
- I'm a drafter at an Architecture firm and I do freelance graphic art.
- I plan to tell people "I'm not sure what I want to be when I grow up" well into my 40s.
- I have a runner's build but don't have runners' knees.
- My kayak has running lights and a CD player.
- My family is very small, and of northern European extraction (sometimes I get the jokes on 'A Prairie Home Companion' a little too well).
- My computer is a Mac (and I felt the need to share that with you).
- I get most of my news from the BBC and NPR.
- I gave money to Wikipedia last year.
- I'm not particularly religious.
- I can cook (depending on who you ask).
- I've donated artifacts to a museum.

- I can tear a phonebook in half.
